






The food court area is located in a seperate area from the main wet market, on the floor above. The kind of food served is mainly "mixed rice"; white rice served with a variety of different dishes for customers to choose from. The dishes served ranges from fish, chicken and meat curries to fried fish, beancurds and vegetables. Customers can help themselves to whatever they feel like and payment is made according to the amount taken.
Jenny Hong's soya bean drinks and tau foo fah are everyone's favourites, and incredibly popular. Not to mention, really good! Customers are, as usual, given a choice between gula melaka and plain white sugar to go with their tau foo fah.
An indian man sells homemade muruku, crackers and nuts at his regular spot in the upper floor, readily packaged or to be sold by weight.
Varieties of fresh fruits are placed in the open for customers to choose from, while a portion is placed in the fridge to maintain freshness. Fruits can be bought to be brought back home or cut to be eaten on the spot.
For those who crave the classic "mamak" restaurant menu, there is an in-house restaurant, the "Chanai & Chaya" which serves the latter.
Since the building is mainly a wet market, the Pasar Besar TTDI does not specialize as a "foodie's paradise". It does however have a few in-house food joints for shoppers to take a break and grab a bite.
